| AAA National Conference 2006 |
|
Gayle was invited to do a presentation at our National Conference this year which was held in Adelaide at the Adelaide Convention Centre, August 2006.
After a very nervous start, due to the fact Gayle had never done any public speaking before, she relaxed enough to deliver what she has been told was a very interesting and informative
speach.
The presentation was titled “Finding the Niche for Alpacas in the Global Market”

| Births in England June 2005 |
|
Congratulations to Lucy Dolan and Gerry Thompson of Scotland, on the birth of their first two cria carrying their new Coire Stud Name.
The first, Suilven, a solid white male, was born early June to Paca Perfect Astra (a Mt Cotton Kruger daughter) and sired by Sandjo High Esteem.
The second, Morven, a solid white female, was a very much long awaited birth with a gestation of about 375 days! Worth waiting for, we have been told she is a "showstopper." We will be anxiously waiting untill she is six months and old enough to compete at shows in the United kingdom and Europe. Her Dam is Beringya Downs Kara (a Mt Cotton Kruger daughter) and Sire is Sandjo High Esteem. Kara's fleece has also recently been competing successfully at shows in England.
Both Morven and Suilven are named after mountains in Scotland. |

| Shingleback Saturn's first Cria is Born October 2005 |

Congratulations to Rudy and Di Balde on the birth of Chenova, a very pretty apricot coloured female. She is the first cria to be born, sired by Saturn, and is well worth the wait of 350 days gestation. The photo was taken when she was only a few hours old and already the lustre is dazzling.
