The two day introduction hands on workshops are primarily designed for people who would like to learn more about alpacas.

Staying overnight in the cottage gives the participants the opportunity to sit back, have a drink, and relax and experience the atmosphere associated with having these delightful creatures around.

The workshop covers topics like conformation, routine health maintenance, breeding, Fleece characteristics, selecting stock, farm design and layout, pasture and Halter training.

The workshop can be altered to suit the experience/requirements of the participants.

Morning and afternoon teas are provided as well as a light lunch on both days.

Dinner is available at one of the many excellent local restaurants or a BBQ pack is available for an extra cost.
